Enrollment Process

Canadian Colleges Study & Education

At Key2Careers College we have a simple, admissions process to admit potential students. Our policies and procedures are based on provincial and national standards for private colleges, which ensure that our students will receive the most relevant assessment relative to their career training needs.

The Process (Local Students)

Step 1: Meet with an Admissions Representative
At the first meeting, we will discuss your goals and aspirations, you will learn more about our programs. Once you have selected the program, pay $85 as application processing fee & submit copies of your School/College/University certificates/transcripts.
Step 2: Complete an Assessment Test
This test is designed to assess some of the essential skills and abilities that are required to successfully complete our diploma and certificate programs.
Step 3: Finalize Financing and Registration
We will assist you in determining your most suitable financing opportunities and make sure that all your registration information is current and complete.
Step 4: Start your Program
Your first day is the beginning of a new age in your chosen career. In twelve months or less you can finish your studies and begin your new career.

The Process (international Students)

     Step 1:

Select the Program
There is no application fee to apply as this has been waived from May 1, 2006

Please visit our website www.key2careers.net and click on the online International student application form which should be filled and submitted. Alternatively you can print the International Student Application Form from our website. Fill it up, scan in PDF only & email it to: marketing@key2careers.net
OR Fax it to 905-486-2118.

     Step 2:

Supporting Documents required for post-secondary Diploma Programs:

     Step 3:

Once we have completed the assessment & if approved a “Conditional Letter of Acceptance” will be sent through Email.      Step 4:

It is not mandatory to pay the Tuition fee before you get your Visa/Study permit but our experience has shown that it is easier to get the visa/study permit if Tuition is paid before.

     Step 5:

Apply for visa/study permit to the Canadian Embassy and do not forget to attach the tuition fee receipt if Tuition has been paid.

IELTS/TOEFL Requirements

If English is not your first language, you must achieve a score of 525 (paper-based) or 196 (computer-based) or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). We also accept a score of 5.5 on the International English Language Test Service (IELTS) conducted through the British Council.

If your TOEFL score is less than 525 (paper-based) or 196 (computer-based) or your IELTS score is below 5,5, you may still qualify for admission to Key2careers College in two ways:

Applicants who have not completed a TOEFL/IELTS test will only be given admission to a diploma program provided they first join our English as a second language intermediate/advanced program for minimum 3-6 months before proceeding to the diploma career program. Alternativevely Applicants may recieve a conditional acceptance and they will have to pass a TOEFL / IELTS test within 4 months from the date of conditional acceptance. Once the acceptable scores are received, an un-conditional acceptance letter will be sent.

Tuition Fee

25% of the tuition fee is payable within 30 days from the date of the unconditional Letter Of Acceptance and balance 14 days before the start date of the program. It is also recommended you pay the tuition fee in full before you apply for the visa/study permit, as it facilitates your visa process at the Canadian consulate. However this is not mandatory from our side. The visa/study permit process usually takes 12 weeks after you file your application at the Canadian consulate in your country, and therefore you should start early. You may also be called in for an interview and if approved you will have to go through a medical exam.

Tuition is the same for everyone at Key2Careers College (residents or international students – we treat everyone equal and appreciate your commitment to study abroad!!)

Deadlines

Student must respect three deadlines:

1.       Last date to confirm place in the program

2.       Last date to pay the tuition fee

3.       Last date to come and register at the college in person

Visa process

Canadian Student visa package
We understand that applying for a Canadian student visa is a complicated process that requires a lot of documents. So to simplify the process you can opt for our Unique Student Visa Package. We work with the biggest immigration law firm in Canada who can prepare the whole Visa application in a professional way for a nominal fee of just $1,500. In addition to this there is a Govt fee of $125 for Study Permit application. They will prepare the complete file & send it to you. Then you can submit this file to the Canadian Consulate along with the visa application fee. Again this is not mandatory but recommended. We have been having an excellent success rate with this package. However if the Law Firm reviews your file and feels your case is weak and it will be difficult to get the Study Permit/Visa, CDN$500 will be refunded.

Refund Policy

In case your Visa/study permit is rejected for any reason, you will have to send us the original refusal letter from the Canadian Consulate and the entire tuition amount paid will be refunded except CDN 500.00 non refundable deposit. This refund is processed within 60 days.

It's that simple! Start planning for tomorrow, join Key2Careers to start your journey.
