Description

The level of this course is intermediate



Prerequisites

Students should have solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and the JavaTM language, a basic understanding of WebSphere Studio Application Developer, the ability to read and understand HTML documents, an understanding of the World Wide Web functionality, a familiarity with TCP/IP protocol suite, and Windows user skills.



Acquired Skills

In this five day course, students learn how to write web applications using the JavaTM J2EE technologies. Servlets and JavaServer Pages (JSP) provide a programming model for building robust and scalable web applications. Students also learn to interact with Enterprise Java Beans from their web applications applications. Students will learn to use WebSphere Studio Application Developer version 5.0 in hands-on activities.
