Overview

This Vendor Certification Program is a fast track one to give you sufficient knowledge and skills for Archtectural Design to become Vendor Certified. This course includes all basic drawings, editing, utility commands, file management, and system operations. Projects incorporate basic techniques of drawing and computer-aided drafting. Trainees have an opportunity to apply AutoCAD to their respective Professional discipline.

AutoCAD II (Intermediate to Advanced)

Prerequisite: AutoCAD I or equivalent

Overview

This Vendor Certification Program is a fast track one to give you sufficient knowledge and skills for Archtectural Design to become Vendor Certified. This course builds on the drawing basics learned in AutoCAD I. Advanced two-dimensional options to three-dimensional 3-D modeling for basic commands are explored with more hands-on practice with CAD operations. Course includes an introduction to grips, attributes, external files, wire-frame, surface, region, solid and parametric modeling techniques. This course provides a comprehensive study of views, view-ports and moving through three-dimensional space. Shading and rendering methods are explored.

Architectural Desktop

Length: 60 hours / 3 weeks

Overview

This Vendor Certification Program is a fast track one to give you sufficient knowledge and skills for Archtectural Design to become Vendor Certified. This course is designed to provide trainees with the production level command of the software. AutoCAD Architectural Desktop combines AutoCAD ® 2000 drafting tools with architectural objects. When you use AutoCAD Architectural Desktop resources, you can make transition without interruption between major phases in your design process by reusing information from each stage to the next. You can manipulate and consolidate three-dimensional mass elements into massing studies. You can refine the building project as you add more detailed information to the schematic design. You can annotate your drawings with reference marks, notes, and dimensions. Information from the objects and tags can be extracted and then sorted and compiled into schedules, reports, tables, and inventories for comprehensive and accurate construction documentation.
