INTERVIEW COACHING

We start from the moment the phone rings. How you respond to the invitation to attend an interview is a vital component in establishing the appropriate impression.

We identify where you really need to focus. We'll examine your current approach. Then we'll concentrate on those few essential elements that contribute most heavily to success.the principal of leverage.

We'll help you prepare yourself mentally for your performance. A good performance is a function of being in the right frame of mind. Ask any successful singer, actor, musician or sports person. You know your stuff. It's how you appear and sound to the other person that determines how they'll react to you.

We won't give you a formula or a stock of standard responses and phrases. At an interview, you need to present you in the best possible way. Most of us do not have the acting skills or confidence needed to consistently pass ourselves off as something we are not.not to a skilled interviewer. Nor should we. We'll regret it later.

We won't give you a script. A script only works when you know what the other person will say and do. (There are other web sites advertising clairvoyants).

You won't get a list of the "do's" and "don'ts" of interviews. There are plenty of books around. My experience, and that of most of my clients, suggests that it's almost impossible to remember tips in the heat of the moment. And they tend to make you look and sound artificial and awkward.

The most effective approach is to be the best that you can be. That's what they are buying. And that's all you've got to offer. An integrated and authentic presentation of you at your best will achieve the best possible result.

Therefore, we will help you achieve the emotional and psychological states you need to give your best performance. There are no second chances. No second takes. It's a live performance every time.

We'll also help you identify and interpret the subtle signals coming from the interviewer(s) that tell and show you how well you are doing. And then you'll learn what to do to keep them where you want them and how to get things back on track.
