Admission Requirements – Diploma/certificate Programs

Our Diploma & Certificate programs are open to any who are 18 and older with a High School Diploma or must have passed Grade 12 or equivalent. Sometimes in special cases we do accept students younger than 18 provide they have a High School Diploma or a GED certificate or grade 12 equivalent. It is important that you read “Enrollment Process” and “Apply Now” on our website, where you will also find a link to the International Student Application Form which can be printed, filled & sent along with your certificates.

For Post Graduate Courses, the minimum requirement is an under graduate degree.

A. Diploma / Certificate Programs

1. A complete application submitted to the Office of Admissions;

2. Proof of high school graduation, Grade 12 or equivalent (this includes complete high school mark sheets/transcript or GED certificate & college/university certificates/marksheets issued by state and TOEFL / IELTS scores. Individual curriculum areas may require additional admission information

IELTS /TOEFL Requirements

  • If English is not your first language, you must achieve a score of 525 (paper-based) or 196 (computer-based) or higher on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). We also accept a score of 5.5 on the International English Language Test Service (IELTS) conducted through the British Council.
  • If your TOEFL score is less than 525 (paper-based) or 196 (computer-based) or your IELTS score is below 5,5, you may still qualify for admission to Key2careers College in two ways:

A.) Applicants who have not completed a TOEFL/IELTS test may be offered a Conditional Letter of Acceptance. Applicants will have to pass a TOEFL / IELTS within 4 months from the date of conditional acceptance. Once the acceptable scores are received, an un-conditional acceptance letter will be sent.

B.) Applicants who have not completed a TOEFL/IELTS test, may join our English as a second language program for 3-6 months before proceeding to do a post secondary or post graduate career program.

3. Once we have completed the assessment & if approved a “Conditional Letter of Acceptance” will be sent through Email. On receiving this Email “Conditional Letter of Acceptance”, you will be required to send a non-refundable deposit of  CDN$ 500

Admission Requirements – Continuing education

 

Career Development (enrollment in course work with no diploma goals)

 

1. A complete application and non-refundable deposit of CDN$500 for International Students & $ 50 for Canadian Students) submitted to the Office of Admissions;

 

2. NOTE: These applicants are not required to be high school graduates and there is no age bar. However, selective placement in areas will be determined by instructor approval, if needed. Placement Tests will be required for any student wishing to enter English or French courses.
