Prerequisite: Proficiency in AutoCAD - Civil Engineering or Land Surveying or Technical Background.

Overview

This course is designed to expand and enhance the student's ability to combine and apply Land Development, Survey and Civil Engineering disciplines with AutoCAD computer drafting techniques and capabilities. The course covers all of the basic functionality of Land Development including terrain modeling, horizontal & vertical alignment, COGO, profiles and cross-sections. The course incorporates basic and intermediate use of Land Development software to produce engineered results and design components that are required for most land development and civil engineering projects.
