Module
Overview
Marketing is the part of your business that focuses on the customer.
This module prepares you for the dynamic world of international
marketing. The module is designed to help students learn about and
apply the basic concepts and practices of modern marketing as they are
used in a wide variety of settings: in product and service firms,
consumer and business markets, profit and non-profit organizations,
domestic and global companies, and small and large businesses.
Learning Objectives and Approach
Learning Objectives
The main
objective is that students will receive job ready skills. Upon
completion of this module, students will understand international
marketing concepts and processes and will be able to apply these
concepts through practical projects in the areas of: Product
Development, Product Pricing, Product Promotion and Product Placing.
Approach
Classes are
delivered through extensive use of industry examples; product examples;
real life company cases and outstanding award winning marketing
practices. The course covers 9 specific skill areas in individual
topic/project that is integrated with two textbooks.
You have up to 6 weeks to
work through the module. At each step along the way, you'll have access
to a coach-mentor who will provide feedback on your end-of-lesson
assignments.
You must
pass two monitored knowledge examinations.
